Description
This e-course provides information about recent developments in urban Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and traffic management. In doing so, the e-course is intended to provide support to professionals in preparation and implementation of traffic management policies and prepare an initial selection of measure types suitable for their situation.

ITS and traffic management applications help cities to achieve policy goals with regard to accessibility, liveability and safety. Accelerated by technology and ICT developments, the possibilities of using ITS and traffic management in urban environments have increased substantially in the past decade.
